ClownZero Response Team is a group of professional performing artists who respond to communities and individuals in crisis worldwide with humanitarian clowning and therapeutic performing arts.
We go where we are needed: to hospitals, schools, eldercare facilities, shelters, orphanages and refugee camps worldwide delivering laughter to families and children.
Last September, ClownZero Response Team, working in association with the American Red Cross, responded to the tragedy of the San Bruno California Fire. Response team members delivered laughs and entertainment to children and families while they waited for food and health services at an emergency shelter.
Last November, ClownZero, in association with Catholic Charities, will provide laughs and entertainment for families and children at the Saint Joseph’s Center for Families in San Francisco’s Mission District.
ClownZero has been invited to travel to Chiang Mai Thailand in January 2012 to work in association with the Panya Project, a local permaculture institute and The Lotus Flower Foundation, a Thai organization dedicated to ending child abuse. Together we will tour orphanages and refugee camps and bring joy and laughter to the hearts of children and families.
